The Baltic securities market is a unified market made up of three NASDAQ OMX stock exchanges in Riga, Tallinn, and Vilnius. The NASDAQ OMX group is the world’s largest exchange company. Securities listed on the NASDAQ OMX Riga Stock Exchange can be purchased only with the mediation of a NASDAQ OMX Riga member – a licensed banker or broker.Clients of all major Latvian commercial banks can acquire the services of an individual broker. The Riga Stock Exchange uses the international securities trading system INET, which is used by stock exchanges in Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Iceland, Estonia, and Lithuania.
