Ķemeri National Park

Ķemeri National Park, founded in 1997, preserves natural and cultural/historical treasures and protects the process of formation of therapeutic mud and mineral waters.

Park hosts plants included in the Red Data Book of Latvia, animal and bird species under protection in Europe - sea eagles, eagle-owls, black storks, cranes, etc. Three eco-routes - the Moorland track (now closed due to technical reasons), the Marshland track and the Slokas lake track to be explored individually and with a guide. More information on natural paths, routes for walking and bicycling, environmental education events and guided tours available in Ķemeri Park's information centre Forest House from May until September.
