Riga visited by 20 cruise ships in July

20 cruise ships entered the Port of Riga in July. These brought 21,627 tourists to the city, which is an increase of 19% compared to July last year.
For the most part, these tourists came from Sweden, the US, the UK and Germany.
Riga also experienced the first visit of the cruise ship Vision of the Seas, which belongs to the US company Royal Caribbean International. A warm welcome from the Riga city administration and all Rigans! The ship was built in 1998. It is 279 metres long and 16 metres high, and cost 275 million US dollars.
The Vision of the Seas, with its crew of 784 people, brought 2193 visitors from the US, the UK, Norway, Sweden and Spain.
