Stockholm School of Economics in Riga

SSE Riga offers two degree programmes: the Bachelof of Science (B.Sc.) in Economics and Business and, since 2002, the Executive MBA programme. In addition to the degree programmes, the school offers a number of executive education programmes – open as well as in-house programmes. The three-year Bachelor programme offers courses in economics, finance and accounting, business addministration, communication, and research methods, while the Executive MBA programme takes two years. SSE Riga is a small university, it annually enrolls approximately 140 students, mainly from Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania. SSE Riga is also accessible to students from Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, as well as the European Union and foreigners with permanent residence permission. English is the language of instruction.

Through its participation in Erasmus, membership in the Higher Education Support Program (HESP) and through a number of bilateral agreements, the school offers a wide range of exchange opportunities. Every year about 30 to 50 exchange students can freely choose courses from SSE Riga Bachelor's programme. The intensive and interactive studies take at least 8 hours a day.
