Tīnes shop

The "Tīnes" shop is a family business founded in 1993, run by Ināra and her son Toms. The products made by "Tīnes" are sold not only at the shop, located on Riharda Vāgnera Street in Riga, but during the summer months also near the Small Guild in Riga's Old Town.

In Latvian "Tīnes" means "chests" filled with various knitwear: mittens, gloves, socks, hats, scarves, jumpers, and cardigans. The mittens and socks are reproductions of fashion designs of the end of the 19th century, presenting the colour and design patterns from various regions of Latvia of that period. All products sold at "Tīnes" are handmade and of highest quality; "Tīnes" products are also exported to Sweden, Norway, Germany, Iceland, Japan, Russia and the United States.

The "Tīnes" shop also offers various linen products: jumpers, jackets, capes as well as various accessories: hats, scarves, kerchiefs, purses. The company also makes individual products tailored to customers' wants and needs. "Tīnes" also sells LiveRīga souvenirs.
