Summer Solstice on June 21 has been a widely celebrated day of the year since ancient times. This year's Jāņi (name for Latvian traditional Summer Solstice celebrations) in Turaida will see performances of folklore ensembles from various regions of Latvia.

At one of the most beautiful places in Latvia — Turaida, a celebration of Summer Solstice takes place, where the ancient traditions are brought to life together with members of the foundation „Māras loks” and folklore ensembles from various regions of Latvia.

Participate in open-air workshops in wreath making and cheese making, sun ritual, singing Latvian folksongs and dancing folkdances, fire ritual, and sunrise awaiting at Dainas Hill.
