Illuseum, opposite the legendary sweets factory Laima, has an exceptional selection of teas from all over the world, with a story to be told about every one - that is a part of the Illuseum ritual.
Illuseum was created according to a 2005 concept on a new form of interaction between people. The tearoom/studio presents a wide choice of Chinese tea, mate, teaware and accessories, books, and other items. Illuseum's concept is based on recognition of tea as a balanced interaction between fire, water, tea leaves, room and state of mind. The project was created to introduce you to a variety of rituals and ceremonies, different ritual teas, herbs and herbal mixes, as well as various preparation recipes. Here you can try Latin American Yerba Mate, which features golden colour, bitter taste and mild aroma. Yerba Mate is also called the "green gold" of Latin America. It is well known as an alternative to coffee and tea, refreshing, stimulating and promoting communication. lluseum is a sanctuary for those who have grown weary of the hectic pace of urban life, a temple where one can collect thoughts over tea and a good book.
