MX1 Grand Prix in Latvia

MX1 World Championship is organized on the basis of Grand Prix system and is an exclusive event in the world motocross and is even called Formula 1 in motocross. It is the biggest competition among the manufacturers of moto techniques where in manner like in Formula 1 paricipate also private crews.

The importance of this event approves TV Schedule of MX1 which reaches audience of several millions from 130 countries all over the world of all continents.

The organizer of MX1 GP in Latvia is „Baltic Cup Foundation”(BKF) and the event takes place in motor centre „Zelta Zirgs”, in Kegums which according to the opinion of many riders, officials and fans is one of the best motor centre in Europe and World, in addition MX1 GP Latvia in Kegums is considered to be one of the best events in all MX1 World Championship. Main premises for that is the perfect infrastructure of the motor centre, clean surrounding environment and the challenging track with its perfect visibility allowing fans to follow the full processes of the event for 100%, and the excellent organization of the event.

Approval of the said above is the agreement signed in autumn 2010 about the organization of Motocross of Nations in Latvia, in Kegums, in 2014!!!
