The mission of Gastro is diagnostics and treatment of digestive diseases in order to provide the highest-level professional help in gastroenterology for physicians and patients in Latvia by using the best global experience in this field and by facilitating the introduction of the latest medical technologies in gastroenterology.

Local and foreign patients can undergo full oesophageal, gastric, intestinal, bile duct, pancreatic and liver examination. The centre also provides professional consultations. Usually, during the first visit, the physician sets the examination plan with the aim of establishing a precise diagnosis (patient’s disease) in order to choose the proper therapy. Gastro also offers functional diagnostics and effective treatment at the day hospital and the outpatient hospital.
