Riga is ranked first in the British Post Office's "City Costs Barometer 2011", followed by Prague, Budapest and Tallinn.
The Post Office reports that Riga offers British tourists the most for their money - the ranking is based on such criteria as a stay in a three-star hotel, visits to three city attractions, a sightseeing tour on board a bus, a two-day travel card, airport transfers and meals.
The "City Costs Barometer 2011" informs that Riga and Tallinn offer the cheapest three-star hotel accommodation, according to prices provided by Hotels.com. Visits to museums and art galleries are cheapest in Riga, Dublin and Copenhagen.
