Sigulda Beach

Campsite "Siguldas pludmales" is located near River Gauja, about an hour drive from Riga. The campsite is open for visitors from May to November.

The campsite manager, travel agency "Makars", also offers canoe, kayak, rafting and other types of boating down the Gauja, furthermore, the rafts offered by "Makars" are equipped with tables, benches and grills. Also on the offer is a 25-kilometer boating course from Līgatne to Sigulda, which takes four to six hours to complete.

From May 15 to August 15, "Siguldas pludmale" also offers "Jeep Safari", which involves getting across the river and visits to Līgatne Nature Trails and Deer Park. In the winter, November to March, visitors can race down the Sigulda bobsleigh track in a real bobsleigh, with speeds reaching up to 100 kilometres per hour.
