Campsite/guesthouse Lauču akmens

Campsite/guesthouse "Lauču akmens" offers seaside recreation, the beautiful beach and good lodgings: a guesthouse with basic amenities, camping houses, a car park and a park for camper vans, a sauna and a cafe, as well as organises various events: banquets and seminars, events for children and others.

The campsite is open all year round, also in the winter when a 1.5-kilometre cross country skiing track is built on the beach. Migratory birds fly over "Lauču akmens" each spring and autumn, and various birds and animals can be observed on the beach.

The campsite/guesthouse offers several Nordic walking routes along the sea: Lauču akmens – Munchausen Museum – Cape Roņu – Lāču Lighthouse – Tūja, along the rocky Vidzeme beach - a testimony to the versatility of the Baltic Sea coastline in Latvia. Also available are various excursions to manors and castles nearby. The campsite offers unforgettable moments at Vidzeme beach, and those who believe their luck may try to find Lauču Stone, after which the campsite has been named and that is believed to have special powers.
