Del Popolo

Restaurant "Del Popolo" is located in a narrow street between St. John's Church and other historic buildings. Although it may seem quite small from the outside, the restaurant has several halls - for couples as well as for larger companies of friends, whereas the hall on on the lower ground floor is just right for large and loud groups of revellers. The restaurant has a reserved interior, Italian music for the atmosphere and truly hospitable waiters.

The menu will please every fan of Italian cuisine - it is not overwhelming but it still includes all kinds of traditional Italian food. Depending on season, various antipasti are available, always made of fresh products. Also on menu are excellent Italian soups and, as befits an Italian restaurant, various pizzas, best served with wine - the restaurant has an extensive choice of wines. Certainly try a dessert, preferably a sorbet or a tiramisu.

Restaurant "Del Popolo" is highly popular with its clients - a 2010 survey by newspaper "The Baltic Times" ranked "Del Popolo" first among Italian restaurants in Riga.
