Walkin tour "Old town" with local guide

During the guided tour you'll walk along the narrow streets of the Medieval Hanseatic Old Town and enjoy the splendors of the Dome cathedral, Old Guild house and Riga castle. Walking tour starts at the Town Hall Square that was the central square of the city from 13th up to 19th century. The most famous building of the square is the magnificent gothic House of the Blackheads. During the tour you will also see such famous spots of Riga as St. Peters Church, Swedish Gates and Powder Tower.

Soviet Riga

If you are to really understand Riga, you have to experience its past filled both with happiness and sorrow. During this excursion we will turn back the wheel of time. The Moscow Suburb

One of the oldest and architecturally most valuable locales in Riga is the Moscow Suburb, which first emerged just outside the walls of Riga in the 13th Century. Today the Moscow Suburb is home to the heart of all merchants and customer – the Central Market of Riga. Within close proximity to it, the 21-story high Sciences’ Academy is standing tall, it was also the first high rise building in Latvia and originally planned to be a Collective workers’ Building for the purpose of glorifying the Soviet Government. The Orthodox Churches
