Film director Herz Frank (b. 1926) is famous for his fine understanding of human psychology, well revealed in his world-acclaimed reel "Ten Minutes Older" (1978). In 2002 fifteen well-known directors (Werner Herzog, Jim Jarmusch, Wim Wenders and others) shot their interpretations about the film, screened at the Cannes Film Festival. While looking for new challenges and horizons, Herz Frank often stands on the thin red line between a filmmaker's conscience and ethics.
