October 28, the orchestra invites everyone to a concert of Latvian music, titled Latvian Composers Celebrate Anniversaries. 2011 marks the significant anniversaries of four Latvian composers: Artūrs Grīnups and Romualds Jermaks are 80 and Pauls Dambis and Romualds Kalsons are 75 this year. LNSO and conductor Andris Vecumnieks offer their congratulations to the four classics of Latvian music and invite music lovers to join them at a concert tribute to look back at some of the highlights of the composers' musical careers.
