The motto of the Winter Festival is: "More Sports, More Leisure, More Art, More Entertainment!"

The Winter Festival will include skiing competition, tourism rally, snow sculpture championship, as well as Sigulda Snowboarding Cup, downhill and cross-country skiing competitions. Also, Shrovetide celebrations with Latvian songs, dances, rituals and traditional Latvian cuisine.
