Every visitor can now purchase a joint ticket and take a look at the historic cabinet-rooms of the House of Blackheads, its collection of silver, ceremonial halls and the exhibitions of the Riga Art Space. The new underground passageway was opened during an official ceremony by Riga Vice Mayor Andris Ameriks and "Rīgas nami" Ltd. Board Chairman Karlis Kavacs.

The passageway was built in the basement of the House of Blackheads by creating a hole in the wall, which separated the building from the Art Space.

The passageway is only part of the reconstruction that took place in the House of Blackheads this summer - two additional entrances from the side of the Museum of Occupation have also been added, which will lead visitors to a room where a small cafe will soon be located.
