Wine and Music - new concert series at Spīķeri Concert Hall.

Good music and good wine - this composition of relish, as well as professionals' stories about it will be heard in a new series of concerts "Wine and music" at Spīķeri Concert Hall, offered by "Latvijas koncerti" in cooperation with the restaurant "Kitchen".

On October 29, the concert series will be opened by "Santa Fe Guitar Quartet" (Argentina). Jānis Jenzis, the co-owner of the restaurant "Kitchen", will interview a professional wine expert, and "Latvijas koncerti" Director Guntars Ķirsis will talk about music. The concert's programme will include compositions by Eduardo Martin, Marcelo Coronel, Manuel de Falla, Andrew York, and Astor Piazzolla. During the evening, you will also be able to sample Argentinian wine "Jean Bousquet".

On December 10, "Wine and Music" will continue with French composers' masterpieces performed by Dita Krenberga (flute). Ints Dālderis (clarinet) and Liene Circene (piano). You will also be able to enjoy French champagne "Gosset".

On February 14, 2012, Austrian composers' masterpieces will resound at Spīķeri Concert Hall. This time, it will be possible to try a glass of the Austrian wine "Singing Grüner Veltliner" from "Laurenz V".

On May 12, 2012, the concert series' organizers will turn to Italy, offering Italian composers' music and production from Italian wine producer "Bortolomiol prosecco".
