Latvian museums in the capital and regions will take part in the Night of Museums, remaining open long after midnight.
The museums will be joined by other institutions, which preserve and popularize cultural heritage: theatres, concert halls, libraries, higher education institutions. There will be no admission fees.
On this special night, the museums remain open after midnight. Their traditional exhibitions are accompanied by several special events - creative workshops, concerts and theatre performances.
