On the second Sunday each September, craftsmen from all over Latvia come together at the Latvian Ethnographic Open-Air Museum to share their professional secrets and publicly showcase their crafting processes.
On this day, many blacksmiths, weavers, basket-makers, leather tanners, jewellers and wood carvers gather at the museum and sell their handicrafts.
Several folklore ensembles will entertain the craftsmen and visitors with various musical performances all day long.
The museum's restorers will also show off their skills during the festivities. Every enthusiast will have the opportunity to learn an old trade, therefore the museum's entrance fee will be symbolic - one lat.
