"Sinfonietta Rīga" offers its listeners a parade of geniuses - Strauss, Schubert and Holliger.
It is always a great pleasure to see the ingenious Swiss Heinz Holliger in Riga, and we are proud that this outstanding musician gladly and repeatedly gets together with Latvian musicians.
This time we will hear Holliger perform the solo from Richard Strauss' Oboe Concerto, while Holliger’s personal masterpieces will be represented (under his own leadership) by one of the most original opuses of the turn of centuries – the extravagant ConcERto?
