The Riga City Festival is the main annual event in Rīga. It is a kaleidoscope of musical, artistic, theatrical and dance performances, sports events and attractions. The festival also offers a wonderful opportunity to have a good time and gain new, unforgettable impressions.
Various events are held on the city's streets and squares, on the water and in the air, in museums, concert halls and cultural centres.
The festival lasts three days, during which Rīga is filled with joy. Numerous concerts, dances, athletic competitions, an air show and a channel regatta, fairs, taste-testing and magnificent fireworks take place throughout the city.
