At 11 p.m., youth choir "Balsis" will delight the audience with its programme "...eleven, twelve!" At the turn of the year, SIA "Uguns dārzi" will set up a spectacular fireworks display accompanied by the musical masterpieces of composer Uģis Prauliņš.

Rock & Roll band "Keksi" will perform on Old Town Riga's Dome Square from 9 p.m. to 10 p.m, whilst Pete Anderson and "The Swamp Shakers" - on Līvu Square from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. Various DJs will sustain joyful atmosphere from just before midnight until 2 a.m., inviting everyone to "Disco in the Snow". Esplanade will also feature dances accompanied by music from 11 p.m. until the late night hours.

On Saturday, December 31 and Sunday, January 1, public transportation, except mini-buses, as well as parking, except in Old Town, will be for free.

The public transportation routes will be on their weekend schedules, however, additional public transportation services will be added for those celebrating New Year's Eve in the city.
