This is one of the oldest and most welcomed athletic competitions gathering local sports stars and athletes from abroad.
“Riga Cup 2012” is a wonderful opportunity to witness the performance of the best athletes just before the most important competitions this summer — European Athletics Championships and the Games of the XXX Olympiad.
A tight competition is ensured in all disciplines where athletes compete for qualifying for the Olympic Games, but the most interesting events will be in javelin throwing, long jump, shot-put, and sprint distances.
