The exhibition Latvia's Century is a joint contribution of Latvian museums to reveal 100 years of Latvia. A total of 64 museum from all over the country are participating, with the central question of the exhibition - what is Latvia?
This will be the largest joint exhibition of museums since the restoration of independence, which will provide the opportunity to see excellent historical objects stored at museums in all regions of Latvia - Kurzeme, Sēlija, Vidzeme, Zemgale and Riga. These objects reflect the history of the Latvian people, land and country over the past centenary. Participating in the exhibition will be over 60 state, local government and private museums, with over 1,500 objects from their collections which tell about the history of Latvia during various the various periods of the past 100 years.
