Everyone is welcome at Grīziņkalns Park, where we will spend the shortest night of the year weaving St. John's wreaths, singing, dancing, playing midsummer games and reviving and learning old traditions.
Līgo Festival in Grīziņkalns! will combine both the folksy and the modern, creating a celebration for every midsummer eve kid in the capital. The programme includes performances of the folk music groups, as well as activities for all ages and moods – among them a fire-lighting ritual and dances until sunrise.
