As part of the project Europe's Oldest Cinemas Unite, the Splendid Palace Cinema offers a special programme of classic films and events for both the younger generation and the general public.
A programme of European classics will take the viewer through the different eras of the history of cinema from the 1920s to the present day. It will be complemented by screenings with the art experts, who will discuss with the audience the importance of these films in the history of cinema. What is more, within the project film screenings and activities focused specifically at young people will be organized, with the aim of introducing them to the cinema heritage in an innovative way.
