The Summer of Organs concert series at St. John's Church in Riga will be concluded by a brilliant duo – saxophonist Aigars Raumanis and organist Aigars Reinis, two musicians who have proven themselves in a diverse repertoire.
The concert program includes the immortal organ music by J.S. Bach and the world-famous works of the 20th-century classic P. Glass, minimalist soundscapes and rhythmic games.
Aigars Reinis is music director at Riga Cathedral and cathedral organist, as well as a professional singer in choirs and ancient music ensembles. Aigars Raumanis is one of the best Latvian saxophonists of the younger generation and winner of several international competitions.
