Ludolfs Liberts (1895-1959) was one of the most brilliant theater artists of the 1920s-1930s. His productions are characterized by the richness of imagination, the luminosity of the colors and the splendor of the forms. The exhibition at the R. Suta and A. Beļcova Museum offers a selection of works by Ludolfs Liberts from the collection of the Latvian National Museum of Art, complemented by some works and photographic material from the Museum of Literature and Music, and original costumes made according to L. Liberts' designs and accessories from the Riga Museum of History and Navigation. Many of the works were restored especially for the exhibition and have not been accessible to a broader public for many decades.
