The Riga International Film Festival, known for short as RIGA IFF, is Latvia’s premier celebration of cinema and one of the most anticipated cultural events in Riga each autumn. Programme
RIGA IFF typically features more than 100 screenings over 11 days, showcasing bold new works from European and world cinema. The programme includes award-winning titles from major international festivals as well as highlights of Nordic cinema and striking local premieres.
Screenings take place at several major venues, including the festival’s main venue Splendid Palace, as well as Forum Cinemas, K.Suns and the National Library of Latvia.
