RFS - Glentoran FC, UEFA Conference League qualifying round football match

Big UEFA Conference League soccer is returning to Riga! On July 16, RFS will host one of Northern Ireland’s most successful and historically significant clubs, Glentoran, in the decisive second leg of the first qualifying round.

"Glentoran" was founded in 1882 in the eastern part of Belfast and is closely linked to the city's industrial history and the famous "Harland & Wolff" shipyard, where the legendary "Titanic" was also built. The club calls "The Oval" stadium home, and the iconic cranes of the Belfast shipyard are still visible in the surrounding area.

More than 200 Glentoran fans will be arriving in Riga, promising an even louder and more special soccer atmosphere in the stands.

Stadium gates will open at 6:00 p.m. A large, free entertainment area will be open, offering activities for both children and adults. The "Andalūzijas Suns" café will be open, along with four concession stands in the stands, and the "Sportland" club merchandise store will also be open.
