Big UEFA Conference League football is returning to Riga! On 13 August, in the second leg of the third qualifying round, RFS will host the Czech football club FK Jablonec.
FK Jablonec is a Czech professional football club based in Jablonec near Nisa, founded in 1945 and currently competing in the country’s top division - the Czech First League. The team plays its home matches at the Střelnice Stadium, and its greatest achievements to date are two Czech Cup victories. The club has made a successful start to the new domestic league season, securing two wins in its first two matches.
To qualify for the UEFA Conference League group stage, the team must progress through a total of four qualifying rounds. It is already known that the winner of the RFS v FK Jablonec tie will face the loser of the Glasgow Rangers v Jagiellonia tie for a place in the main tournament.
Stadium gates will open at 6:00 p.m. A large, free entertainment area will be open, offering activities for both children and adults. The "Andalūzijas Suns" café will be open, along with four concession stands in the stands, and the "Sportland" club merchandise store will also be open.
