In the summer of 2026, Latvia will become one of Europe’s centers for youth volleyball, hosting the final tournament of the CEV U18 European Championship in the capital city of Riga from July 1 to 12.
The Latvian U18 women’s volleyball team, led by Arvila Keiša, will face their peers from Italy, Poland, Turkey, Belgium, Spain, the Czech Republic, and Iceland in the group stage in Riga. The top two teams will advance to the semifinals and compete against the strongest teams from the other group, which will be played in Šiauliai. In addition to the host Lithuanians, young volleyball players from Bulgaria, Germany, Hungary, the Netherlands, Finland, Greece, and France will also compete there.
The four decisive matches will take place in Riga at the Rimi Olympic Center, where the new champions will be crowned on July 12.
