The Riga Chamber Choir "Ave Sol" Laboratory is a collaboration of future conductors, future composers and professional singers, jointly searching for and discovering new possibilities of the choral sound. The result of this collaboration will be presented in this concert.
During the event, the professional chamber choir "Ave Sol" will be conducted by young talents - students of Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music (JVLMA): ānis Almanis-Palmbahs, Matīss Circenis, Kamila Siliņa, Andreass Johanness Teobalds (Andreas Johannes Theobald), Kristaps Solovjovs un Laura Ozoliņa.
The concert will feature lesser-known gems of contemporary choral music, arrangements of Latvian folk songs, Scandinavian sacred music lyrics, as well as premieres by young composers.
