One of the most beautiful parks in the capital - Mežaparks - will host the Europe Triathlon Junior Cup Riga 2025 - one of the most important competitions for young triathletes from different countries.
The event is a great opportunity to enjoy a day outdoors and support the future triathlon stars. This year, more than 90 athletes from 17 countries will take part - a record in the history of the European Junior Cup, which is a statement of the growing interest in triathlon among young people. The event uncovers the most talented youngsters and also serves as a stepping stone for the future stars of this discipline.
The programme includes swimming in Ķīšezers Lake, cycling on the paths of Mežaparks and running with the finish next to the Great open-air stage, where the awards ceremony will take place at 13:00. The junior girls will start at 9.00 and the junior boys at 11.00. The starting area will be located at the Ķīšezers beach.
Spectators will have comfortable viewing areas with visibility from start to finish. It should be noted that the cycling stage will take place on a high-speed track, so spectators are invited to respect the safety rules and follow the organisers' instructions. The event is open to all, the admission is for free.
