The concert by the Riga vocal jazz group Assembly Singers is dedicated to both the ensemble's 35 years of creative work and its founder and long-time director Einārs Verro.
Both current and former members of the Assembly Singers will take to the stage, as well as long-time stage partners: Laimis Rācenājs, Daumants Kalniņš, the choir Senais kalns and a number of outstanding Latvian jazz musicians – Madars Kalniņš (keyboards), Andris Grunte (double bass), Artis Orubs (percussion) and Indriķis Veitners (clarinet, saxophone). The evening will be hosted by actress Marija Bērziņa.
