A symphony orchestra, ten tenors from five countries, the world's most beloved hits and an impressive show that has already won the hearts of audiences across Europe. Each participant in this project is a vibrant personality with their own timbre and charisma, but together they create a sound that is impossible to imitate.
The concert program consists of a golden selection of world classics and popular music. The audience will hear famous opera arias by Verdi and Puccini, Italian masterpieces "O Sole Mio" and "Torna a Surriento", rock and pop hits from the repertoires of Queen, Tom Jones, Frank Sinatra, and Ed Sheeran, as well as Spanish and Latin American ballads such as "La Bamba," "Besame Mucho," and "Funiculì Funiculà." From opera arias to rock ballads - music that unites generations and is understandable without translation.
The concert will be conducted by Igor Yaroshenko (Ukraine) - an outstanding artist, chief choirmaster of the Ukrainian National Operetta Theatre, who has created arrangements for 10 tenors, specially adapting each piece to the unique voices and symphony orchestra. Latvian stage stars will also take part in the Riga concert - the ethno-pop group Tautumeitas and vocalist Samanta Tīna, while the evening will be hosted by the charismatic singer and television show host Roberto Meloni.
