The second concert of the Kokļu Music Festival features arrangements of Latvian folk songs in various styles and for various ensembles, as well as original music by Latvian composers.
At the end of the concert, all participants will perform two parts from Jānis Šipkēvics' cycle for kokle ensemble "Letters from the Beginning".
Musicians: kokle ensembles Dzītari and Cantata, folk music ensemble Zelta stīdziņas, kokle player Marija Lucēviča with a solo performance, as well as "Trio Amber" with a solo program for kokle, percussion and voice.
