To mark the 77th anniversary of the deportation of March 25, 1949, the Siberian Children’s Fund invites to a free memorial concert for those who were deported.
The concert features the Latvian Culture Academy mixed choir "Sõla" under the artistic direction of Kaspars Ādamsons, with conductors Jēkabs Bernāts and Roberta Kumsāre, and soloists Arvīds Zvagulis (violin) and Ilze Reine (organ).
The concert program includes works by Latvian composers Pēteris Vasks, Jēkabs Jančevskis, Ēriks Ešenvalds, Maija Einfelde, Mārtiņš Brauns, Raimonds Pauls, and Imants Kalniņš.
