Offering a programme devoted to Ludwig van Beethoven, the distinguished violinist Vineta Sareika will share the stage with the Latvian National Symphony Orchestra in two concerts – in Riga and Klaipėda. The concert will showcase the illustrious composer’s output, starting with the early, delicately written Romance in G Major, continuing with the dramatic Great Fugue, which is widely regarded as Beethoven’s most challenging score, and concluding with the compact joy of the Eighth Symphony.
