Riga’s newest creative hotspot – “Veldzes iela” – will officially open in the former lemonade factory district, creating a new cultural passage connecting Matīsa Street and Bruņinieku Street. Over three days, the Radošā rūpnīca Veldze creative quarter will host concerts, exhibitions, design markets, performances, and a variety of cultural events.
The programme includes a live concert by Estonian musician Erki Pärnoja, a performance by Latvian hip-hop artist Ozols, the “Scent Archive” exhibition by Scent Art Festival, a night market, illustration and design activities, as well as the children’s “Tiny Designers Market”.
Visitors will also be able to explore the quarter’s cafés, bars, galleries, record stores, and concept shops throughout the festival.
