This summer, a new tradition is born in Riga – TrādiRīga, Riga’s first summer opening festival for children, young people and families.
On 24 May, we will welcome the summer in Uzvaras Park together with beloved Latvian musicians, artists and creative personalities. The stage programme will feature Fiņķis and the Madona Green Choir, Kaut Kaili, Emilija, Elza Rozentāle, Laime Pilnīga, Annika, ELPO, Tuta’s Fox and Feneks, Drumline Latvia and others.
Do. Create. Show. This is the principle behind TrādiRīga – a festival where every visitor becomes part of the event. For one day, Uzvaras Park will turn into a large adventure zone: a modern science museum and amusement park in the open air, where families can meet, discover new skills and welcome the summer together.
SHOW RIGA
A full-day stage programme with concerts, theatre performances, circus acts and science shows. This will be the place to give the start of summer a special energy together with well-loved Latvian musicians and artists.
DO RIGA
Try out different professions, sports and practical skills. Children and young people will be able to take part in activities that let them experience what it is like to be professionals, athletes or creators in different fields.
CREATE RIGA
Creative workshops and discovery activities where children can experiment, build, explore and discover the world on their own.
The festival will also feature a special Pols ice cream park, a wide food area and relaxing zones for families.
