The world premiere of Canadian opera singer Emily D’Angelo’s new song programme Pleasantly Haunted will be presented in collaboration with a vibrant and virtuosic international chamber ensemble of instrumentalists, bringing together outstanding Latvian and international musicians.
This forthcoming event marks a special and prestigious addition to the programme of the cultural venue Hanzas Perons, once again underscoring the prominent place chamber music holds in Emily D’Angelo’s artistic life. She continues to devote a significant portion of her creative energy to this field, developing distinctive and unconventional programmes, commissioning new works, and collaborating with a diverse range of musicians and artists across disciplines—often beyond the traditional and frequently conservative framework of opera houses.
