The unique and highly anticipated tournament "Musicians' Battles” makes a grand return to Hanzas Perons for its fourth season. This is far from a traditional classical music concert with a polished program, it is a thrilling, unpredictable musical duel and a live improvisation show spanning over four captivating evenings.
During each event, two talented academic musicians step into the arena to face each other head-to-head. Technical virtuosity is just the starting point; to win, they must showcase exceptional stage presence, a sharp wit, and the ability to win over the crowd. With no pre-arranged script the artists must react to their opponent’s musical challenges, jokes, and teases right on the spot. This season, the tournament expands its scale with a grand prize of 2,000 EUR, bringing together eight outstanding musicians from Latvia, the Netherlands, Ukraine, Finland, and Argentina to challenge each other for an unforgettable musical standoff.
