This River boat is the largest and widest passenger vessel in Riga, fully modernized in 2025 to combine comfort, safety, and environmentally friendly technology. It can accommodate up to 206 passengers and is the only boat in Riga with a paddle wheel and a walkable deck that allows a full 360-degree panoramic view.
Misisipi stands out with its quiet, smooth sailing and spacious relaxation areas on two levels. The open upper deck is decorated in a tropical style – perfect for enjoying fresh air, scenic views of the Daugava River, and refreshing drinks from the bar. On the lower deck, there is a spacious and elegant salon with ornate ceilings, panoramic windows, and a maritime-inspired interior – an ideal place to relax in any weather.
The cruise lasts one hour and offers a unique perspective of Riga’s most iconic landmarks from the water. The route starts at 11. Novembra Embankment and passes by the towers of Old Riga, the Presidential Palace, and the National Library, continuing to the Riga TV Tower on Zaķusala – the tallest structure in Latvia.
The boat then continues past the Zaķusala promenade, Lucavsala, and the industrial scenery of Andrejsala, offering views of the Passenger Port, yacht docks, and Riga’s skyline from the middle of the Daugava River before returning to the embankment.
