The Latvian National Symphony Orchestra’s chamber music series continues this year, offering audiences the opportunity to get to know the orchestra’s outstanding musicians more closely. In the first chamber music concert of the 101st season, the musicians invite audiences to a meeting between master and pupil – the English composer Frank Bridge and his most talented student, Benjamin Britten, who became a master himself and is recognised as such. A mosaic of outstanding chamber works will reveal the distinctive yet unifying features of each composer’s musical voice.
