At Latvian Riflemen’s Square, by the History Tactile memorial, the commemorative event The Rebirth of Words will take place for the fifth time. Organised by the association "Krievu balss Latvijai"(A Russian Voice for Latvia) in collaboration with the Museum of the Occupation of Latvia and the international organisers of the Rebirth of Names campaign, the event will feature a reading of the names of victims of repression under the totalitarian communist regime.
The organisers will provide a list of names to be read aloud, but participants are also welcome to read out the names of people who hold personal significance for them.
