The International Baltic Ballet Competition gathers students from professional ballet schools and classical ballet dancers under three age groups (12 to 26) from all over the world.
Aims of the competition:
- preserve traditions of classical ballet;
- promote choreographic education;
- perfect the art of creative performance;
- discover young talents and encourage creative expression;
- improve pedagogical work in raising a new generation of professionals;
- promote international creative activities;
- facilitate cultural exchange.
