World-class rallycross competition in Riga - the opening round of the FIA European Rallycross Championship, "Euro RX of Latvia" - on May 9 and 10 at the legendary Biķernieki track. The world’s fastest elite rallycross drivers will take to the starting grid, offering spectators intense battles, impressive speed, team tactics, and a real adrenaline rush.
Spectators will be treated to thrilling battles in the Euro RX1, Euro RX3, Euro RX4, and Euro RX5 classes, where Europe’s top drivers will go head-to-head with many of our local talents; European Rallycross Champion Jānis Baumanis will also be on the track with his "supercar".
Three Euro RX of Latvia qualifying heats are scheduled for May 9;
May 10 will feature the decisive Euro RX of Latvia final heats.
The 2026 FIA European Rallycross Championship calendar includes six rounds, and the season will kick off right here in Riga. The competition will take place at the Biķernieki track - one of the best rallycross tracks in the world, with a length of 1.295 km. The track surface and its technically demanding nature will pose a challenge to world-class drivers, making this round particularly exciting for both participants and spectators.
